[NYC] Sapporo Restaurant
It is ridiculous not to visit Times Square when you go to New York. Iconified as “The Crossroads of The World,” Times Square never sleeps. The brightly illuminated billboards and thousands of tourists make Times Square one of the world’s busiest intersections.
It was simply INSANE when we were at Times Square during our 2011 trip. It was a hot summer night and the streets of Times Square was packed with people, despite the fact that it was well past midnight.
One notable thing about Times Square, is that it is so difficult to find a non-chain restaurant in Times Square. Sapporo is a great place to dine if you don’t want to end up eating at TGI Friday’s or Olive Garden. The house noodle comes in a huge bowl filled with tasty hot soup, a generous serving of sliced pork, and delicious noodles! We loved Sapporo when we went to New York in winter 2007 and it was awesome to have it again at midnight at Times Square to escape from the crowd.
